These Purchase Terms apply to purchases, virtual currency, and virtual items offered through the app by The Duck App ("The Duck App," "we," "us," or "our").
These Purchase Terms supplement and form part of our Terms of Use. By making a purchase or using purchased virtual currency or items, you agree to these Purchase Terms and the applicable Terms of Use.
Duck Bucks
Duck Bucks are virtual currency that can be used only within the app to obtain eligible virtual items and features.
Duck Bucks have no cash value, are not legal currency, and cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash.
Purchases
Purchases of Duck Bucks are processed through the applicable app store or other authorized purchasing method made available by The Duck App.
Purchases may also be subject to the payment, billing, tax, refund, and other terms of the platform through which the transaction is processed. Prices, available packages, and the amount of Duck Bucks included in a package may vary and may change over time.
Duck Bucks Do Not Expire
Purchased Duck Bucks do not expire while the service remains available. Access to Duck Bucks and other virtual items requires an active account and access to the app and its services.
Use of Duck Bucks
Duck Bucks may be used only for eligible purchases and features made available within the app.
Duck Bucks may not be transferred, sold, exchanged, or redeemed outside the app unless The Duck App expressly provides an authorized feature permitting such activity.
Randomized Crates
Crates contain randomized virtual collectible ducks.
The available reward categories and probabilities for each crate type are disclosed before a crate is purchased. Receiving a particular duck is not guaranteed unless expressly stated otherwise.
Crate Odds
The odds displayed for a crate describe the probability of receiving a duck from each stated rarity or reward category at the time the crate is purchased.
Odds may differ between crate types. If crate contents or probabilities change, the applicable information will be disclosed before future purchases as required by applicable law and platform rules.
Duplicate Ducks
Crates may award ducks that you already own. Duplicate ducks are permitted and may be used with eligible gifting, trading, or other collection features made available in the app.
Purchasing or opening a crate does not guarantee a new or previously unowned duck.
Virtual Items
Ducks, Duck Bucks, crates, and other virtual items exist solely for use within the app.
They do not represent money, a financial account, a stored-value account, or a cash balance and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Purchasing or receiving a virtual item does not transfer ownership of the underlying artwork, software, intellectual property, or other content associated with that item.
Gifting and Trading
Certain virtual items may be eligible for gifting or trading through features expressly provided by the app.
Eligibility may vary by item. Some ducks, rewards, promotional items, or other virtual items may be designated as non-giftable or non-tradeable.
No Real-Money Marketplace
Unless expressly authorized by The Duck App, virtual items may not be sold, exchanged, wagered, or transferred for real-world money or other things of monetary value through the service.
Refunds
Purchases are generally subject to the billing and refund policies of the app store or platform through which the purchase was made.
Nothing in these Purchase Terms limits any refund, cancellation, or other rights available under applicable law or applicable platform policies.
Taxes and Fees
Prices displayed in the app may be subject to applicable taxes, fees, currency conversion, or platform charges depending on your location and the platform used to complete the purchase.
Changes to Virtual Items
The Duck App may add, remove, modify, rebalance, or change virtual items, crate contents, features, package offerings, and pricing as the service evolves, subject to applicable law and platform requirements.
Changes to future randomized crate contents or probabilities will be disclosed as required before purchase.
Errors and Corrections
We may investigate and correct transactions, Duck Bucks balances, virtual-item grants, crate awards, or other purchase-related account information resulting from technical errors, duplicate grants, fraud, exploits, unauthorized activity, or abuse, subject to applicable law.
Suspension or Account Restrictions
Purchase features, Duck Bucks, virtual items, gifting, trading, or account access may be restricted where an account is suspended or terminated in accordance with the Terms of Use.
Any rights relating to purchases, refunds, or account balances remain subject to applicable law and applicable platform policies.

These Purchase Terms are supplemental to our Terms of Use . The Terms of Use contain additional provisions concerning use of the service, account restrictions, intellectual property, service availability, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and other matters.
